Free energy and window coverings and Nanotechnology

Image
FREE ENERGY and Window Coverings and Nanotechnology Eventually our need for window coverings will cease.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsuB-6-n-MM   Justin Hall-Tipping talks about how energy may very soon be created by nanotechnology. Scientists, creative geniuses that they are, have come up with a new style of window that incorporates energy generation. This is one of the TED talks that reminds us all how important Science is to all of us. Free energy. Imagine that. Imagine how life will improve for all of us.  So very inspirational. It has been my dream too. That one day we would have window coverings that generated electricity. Now some very clever people have been working to create just such a reality.

Moveable Shutters

Shutters for the Sub Arctic   Although the video is short and the information a little scanty, I thought it might prove useful to those who are interested in outside shutters that work. In other times, shutters were the window coverings of choice. Nowadays they are usually  merely ornamental in nature. Here is a product that seems to offer a different vision of how to save energy at the window.   Fairbanks, Alaska www.farrellhomebuilding.com   These shutters are moveable and completely cover the windows, which in the sub arctic is a really good idea given the wintry conditions and low, low temperatures.
