So, okay we are not here yet. But we are definitely closer than we once were. Imagine it... a world in which 3-D printing could quite possibly revolutionize not just what we wear but also what we put at the window.

Several years ago when I began this blog I used to muse about how cool it would be for windows to create solar power. In subsequent years new technologies began to appear that began to revolutionize what we do at the window. Now several companies seem to be heading in that direction.

3-D Printing will revolutionize how we manufacture what we need and at this point the only thing that is stopping us seems to be our collective imaginations.

How does this affect you? Well, shortly I can see some savvy entrepreneur creating sheers for the window that will create some solar power for your other devices.

No. We aren't there just yet. But these technologies are creating a brand new way of manufacturing, a new way of creating what we need and shortly we will find all sorts of window technologies that will hopefully have an effect on global warming and climate change. Maybe the days of being oil junkies are almost over.
