BASEMENT WINDOWS and Heat Loss - BRRRR.
I wonder how many of us just ignore our basement windows as a source of heat loss. Mostly basements can be very dark places so usually we don't cover these utilitarian windows. We need the light. After listening to this video I realized this is another way of saving energy, stopping heat loss at the window and saving money. I actually used this method for several years when my windows were both cold, drafty and a great source of light and heat in the daytime but awfully cold at night. It works and it is simple. The trick here is make them look more attractive.

Bamboo Blinds - What a difference
The newer trends in bamboo and in window coverings are something of a departure for North Americans. Why this is so I have no idea.
Windows need to be covered in ways that turn them into an artform , these bamboo blinds do just that.
Instead of plain, utilitarian blinds that often look drab, why not try bamboo blinds that look like these. Largely inexpensive... these blinds bring a totally different way to cover your windows.
